2011 - 2012 Organizational Accomplishments

Because of your support we were able to serve children, youth, adults, families and seniors

and accomplish the following..

Community

Co-sponsored the Community Garden along with Connecting4Communities
Completed a 6-Week Cheerleaders Program - youth performed in the Bud Billiken Parade with Coaches

Served over 300 children through a combination of programs in Early Head Start, Head Start, and Pre-K (ages 6 weeks – 5)

Served over 100 children through the After School Program (ages 6 -12)

Successfully recruited teachers with Bachelors of Arts degrees in Early Childhood Education

Successfully recruited 04 teachers for Preschool for All

Youth Programs

Provided 120 Alvin D. Sims Scholarships to elementary school children
Provided a series of Evening Programs for community youth and adult groups
Completed a 6-Week Summer Camp Program (ages 14 -18) with the University of Illinois at Chicago CHANCE Program

Senior Program

Served over 200 Senior Citizens through the Intensive Case Advocacy and Support (ICASA) program at the Congressman Collins Home
