Program Narrative
Marcy-Newberry Association’s Parent Child Center (PCC) program is a program for teens seeking their GED. The PCC provides child care services for the teens enrolled in the GED program. The children range in age from 6 weeks to 5 years. The program operates Monday – Thursday, and on Fridays the teens attend workshops.
The program is a great program which empowers these teen moms to reach their fullest potential and thus help to create positive role models in our community. The program provides children with a safe, nourishing and educational place to stay, while their parent goes to school.
